This must be the phone that stood by my side for the longest time.
I got this phone when it come out and I was surprised by it. iPhone 5s was the last apple phone i really loved and iPhone 12 Pro sharing the same design was perfect for me. Plus, all the magnetic accessories.
So, I started with iPhone 12 Pro, soon after Apple Watch 3rd gen, Macbook Pro, iPad Air, iPad Pro, Mac mini, Air Tags and a minimalistic wallet so I can have only my driving license with me since all my credit cards have been added to Apple Wallet.
The phone has been the most complex and easy phone to use, easy to setup, maintain, great battery, great camera (photos and videos I must specify), simple operating system and most of all, the so called eco-system. I am still amazed on how easy is to synchronise everything on all your devices.
What make me drop iPhone?
I got bored. And that after all this years, there is still no USB-C. I am big fan of „one cable to rule them all, one charger” and thats it. Life should be simple but Apple decided otherwise. So, when iPhone 14 was launched without USB-C I decided its time to make my life easier and just go with a phone that has USB-C. Yes, I know, it has wireless charging but its not the same.
Another thing that make me drop was iOS 16. Especially the lock screen. To me, that looks like a half baked software, it needs a lot of work, especially when Android dose that so much better, its impossible not to say: WTF Apple.
So, in order to sum it up, I love it, but iPhone seems like neglected, nothing new and exciting for a tech enthusiast. If you are switching from iPhone 11 or older, you’ll feel the difference, otherwise… ill try my odds with Android. Again.
